Engaged! | Emily + Zach

February 12th, 2016
Downtown Disney | Orlando, FL

21

When the opportunity arises to shoot an engagement session at one of the happiest places on Earth, you take it.
Ok, so maybe it wasn’t at THE Magic Kingdom itself, but it was pretty close. Emily + Zach lit up the session with their outgoing personalities and love for one another, making it one of the funnest sessions I have had to date. When you are at a location such as this one, it feels like the overall look of a session can be endless. From the brick walls, hot-air balloon back -drop, and all the way to eating candy apples near a food truck, this session was truly like no other that I have done before. If I can just do all of my photo shoots at any of the Disney parks, that would be great. I am so excited to work with these two again for their wedding in August! Emily + Zach, congratulations once again and thank you so much for allowing me to capture this special time in both of your lives!

Engaged! | Nicole + Conrad

February 6th, 2016
The Ringling Museum | Sarasota, FL

3

I had the honor of working with this stunning couple and their adorable little family recently over at the The Ringling, and it was nothing short of amazing! Other than the “chilly” and extremely windy conditions, we made it out on top with the sweetest engagement and family photos. Working with them only made the anticipation of shooting their wedding this July that much more exciting! You can just see the chemistry between not only the two of them, but also in their family as a whole. The colors and textures the Ringling Museum provide are an artist’s dream, as it should be. Nicole + Conrad, I hope you enjoy your gallery just as much (and if not more) than I do!

Fair Love | Becca + Ethan

January 28th, 2016
Port Charlotte, FL | Charlotte County Fair

1
What do you get when you combine the county fair and two people that are the perfect picture of “easy going”? THIS. Their chemistry compliments the atmosphere perfectly, even though we battled dreary weather for most of it (seriously, regardless of the photos showing otherwise).
When they approached me for some fun photos before Valentine’s Day, the original plan was a simple location of railroad tracks. However, when I heard our little fair was in town for their photo session, I needed to throw out this idea. I was more than happy they agreed! I couldn’t think of a better couple to have this much fun with! Thank you both for changing the plans up a bit, and dealing with the “carnies” with me.

Expecting! | Jen + Broc

Longboat Key Beach, FL
January 18th, 2016

2
Beach meets woodsy elements for this gorgeous maternity session, featuring some dear friends of mine: Jen, Broc, and baby boy! This session was one for the books, in more ways than one! After rescheduling due to Tornado warnings in the southwest Florida region, we all braved the “severe” cold front that directly followed the string of storms, plus the fierce winds along the coastline. Playing out by the beach in 50-something degree weather is very cold for those of us that are used to a consistent 80 degrees weather pattern. Nonetheless, I know that we were all so very happy with the outcome! These two once again were just so effortless to work with, and shined through each frame. Thank you both again for allowing me to capture another milestone in your lives! I am so happy and ready for baby boy to be here!
Congratulations you two on your first expected little one!

Engaged! | Gabby + Ryan

Deep Creek, FL
January 2nd, 2016

17
I couldn’t of picked a better session to start my 2016 off with! This perfectly styled engagement session was extra special to me because the bride and I have known each other for close to 15 years (probably even longer than that)! I was more than thrilled to meet Ryan, and honestly couldn’t of picked anyone better for her. This session was seriously as fun as it looked, and we were so thankful the rainy day took a break for us. G + R, I am so excited for your rustic wedding in October!

Expecting! | Kelly + Josh

Boca Grande, FL

I was so thankful that one of my last session of 2015 was this gorgeous maternity session. Other than weddings and engagement sessions, maternity is right up there for my favorite styled sessions to shoot. This glowing momma-to-be and her fiance wanted to incorporate their love of fitness and chic style together for this session, and I just love how it turned out. From the LuluLemon attire and debuting baby boy’s first pair of Jordan’s, to the elegant jaw-dropping blue maternity dress and GQ-like style, the session in its’ entirety was breathtaking. Kelly + Josh, congratulations on this wonderful chapter in your lives! Thank you so much for letting me be a part of it.

Oh 2015, you were just too good to me. I had no idea this year would look like THIS back in January. Topping out at nearly 100+ sessions and my first ever destination wedding to Young Harris, Georgia, I am truly floored. I am so thankful to have a career that allows me to be the best wife and momma to my family, all the while doing my best to create beautiful memories for YOU all! Whether this career is in for the long haul, or just a few chapters in my life, I am truly grateful for the opportunities God and you all have given me.
These “End of the Year” highlights are not only my favorite frames from this year, but also just my appreciation towards YOU. Scrimmaging through as much as I could, I really hope these frames will bring you back to the FUN we had, and the beautiful chapter in your own life it celebrated.

HFP Recap: Best of Holiday Mini’s

1-24
This year’s holiday mini sessions have completely blown me away. I had the joy of working with clients who participated in last year’s sessions, and the honor of meeting new clients for their 2015 holiday experience! I knew I was in for a heavy season when both of November and December completely booked out within two weeks back in September. For that, I THANK YOU ALL! Thank you for the memories, the laughter, adventure, and love from your families. A recap of some of my most favorite frames from your sessions were in order. We braved the atrocious Florida heat together, BOTH months, and came out on top. Men, a round of applause for you for once again being so wonderful for your ladies. Clients, this blog post is dedicated completely to you, so please enjoy as you may see a few familiar faces. YOU ALL ROCK!

Natalie + CJ Dugan | Florida Wedding

Casa Ybel Resort | November 11th, 2015
Sanibel Island, FL

3

Natalie + CJ celebrated their union with a private ceremony and dinner at the perfect location, the Casa Ybel Resort . With the total number of guests (including the wedding party), 9 was the perfect number for this intimate evening. I had met with Natalie a couple times prior to her big day, and I knew instantly we would be kindred spirits. Once I had met CJ, it was no wonder the two had met and decided to spend the rest of their lives together. It is truly rare you find such loving souls joining together! This wedding was like none other that I had the privilege of witnessing, and I genuinely enjoyed capturing their perfect evening. The lighting all around made way for some gorgeous photos, including the romantic dim light for their private dinner. Not only were the wedding party and guests just so sweet and accommodating, the staff at Casa Ybel were like a dream. Thank you all so much for your hospitality and the memories.
Oh yeah, she totally let me take home one of those gorgeous succulents (and mouth-watering Boston creme pie cupcakes) you see! SCORE!
Natalie + CJ, I hope you enjoy sifting through your personal blog, as a pleasant tease before your wedding package.

Traci + Jeff Ryan | Florida Wedding

Charlotte Harbor Yacht Club | October 24th, 2015
Port Charlotte, FL

37

Traci + Jeff tied the knot at a perfect little venue in Port Charlotte: The Charlotte Harbor Yacht Club. I had met with Traci a year before their wedding date, and through our multiple meetings I knew that this may be the most laid-back and fun wedding yet; and I was right. Jokingly (but also half seriously) stating that her and Jeff hardly had any photos together throughout their entire relationship, they were simple and just wanted what really mattered to them captured on their wedding day: family and friends having fun in the celebration of their union.
I had so much fun witnessing the chemistry between the members of the bridal party, and enjoyed taking those few moments to take care of Traci by giving her and Jeff more than just a “couple” photos they had of each other. The colors and the theme of their day complimented the month perfectly…and honestly, who doesn’t love a good little Halloween theme? (Please note the adorable cake topper!)
Traci + Jeff, I hope you two enjoy this little preview of your amazing day just as much as I have working on it for you.
